PATNA: The state government on Sunday shunted out the excise and prohibition department’s principal secretary K K Pathak. Amir Subhani, principal secretary of home department has been given the additional charge of principal secretary of the excise and prohibition department. Altogether nine IAS officials were transferred and given additional charges by the state government.

Pathak has been sent for waiting for posting till his next posting and he will attend the office of general administration department.
Pathak was not attending his office since September 3, after a sub-inspector of excise department Dipal Kumar Singh was arrested on the charges of allegedly falsely implicating the JD(U) Harnaut block president Chandradeep Sen alias Moti Singh. Pathak had applied for a fresh sick leave for 10-days on September 9.
Dharmendra Singh Gangwar, principal secretary of education department has been transferred and made the new principal secretary of general administration department. He will also handle the additional charge of vigilance department.
R K Mahajan, principal secretary of health department has been given additional charge of principal secretary education department. He will also handle the additional charge of resident commissioner, New Delhi.
Vivek Kumar Singh, principal secretary of environment and forest department has been given the additional charge of principal secretary of revenue and land reform department.
Pratyay Amrit, who is posted as the principal secretary of energy department was given the additional charge of principal secretary disaster management. The government has accepted the application for voluntary retirement of Vyasji, who was posted as the principal secretary of disaster management.

The state government has transferred Jitendra Srivastav, the executive director of the Bihar state health society and made him the secretary of education department. While Shashi Bhushan Kumar, who was posted as additional secretary of the animal husbandry and fishery department will be the new additional secretary of the state health society.
Pradip Kumar Jha, additional secretary of state health society was made the new managing director of Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited.
